PayPal is integrating OpenAI’s Agentic Commerce Protocol (ACP) and Instant Checkout, enabling users to complete purchases directly within ChatGPT. Shoppers will be able to confirm orders, shipping, and payment — all without leaving the chat. 🛍️
Users can pay via their PayPal wallets, with built-in buyer and seller protection and dispute resolution. Starting in 2025, PayPal merchants will be able to list products inside ChatGPT, beginning with fashion, electronics, home goods, and cosmetics. The company will handle all payment routing and processing. 💼
