White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt finds herself under fire on social media after she makes a controversial claim about President Donald Trump’s transparency
Controversial White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt caught flak over a claim she made about her boss, President Donald Trump, which critics wasted no time in disproving.
“President Trump is the most transparent and accessible President in American history!” she penned on X, formerly known as Twitter, as Trump called reporters into the Oval Office on Monday, where he inked executive orders targeting flag burning and cashless bail.
Trump seems to be “accessible” in the sense that he’s very public, often speaks at length to news outlets, and doesn’t hide from reporters. However, critics weren’t sold on the claim that Trump was “transparent.” Many clapped back on X at Karoline’s comment, bringing up how the POTUS still hasn’t released files relating to deceased sex predator Jeffrey Epstein like he initially promised. It comes as a psychologist warned Trump is displaying “dead ringer” symptoms of a horror disease.

Additionally, internet users spotlighted how Trump has been less open on other major issues, such as him also not releasing tax returns and refusing to provide his medical information amid questions about his health.
“Then release the Epstein files. And Trump’s tax returns. And his ACTUAL medical records,” one X user commented. “And the transcripts of his Putin meetings. And the WH visitor logs. And the Mar-a-Lago visitor logs. And his grades from Wharton. And tell us what left you all so ‘ashen’ in Anchorage.”
Another wrote in response to Karoline’s tweet, “Epstein files? Transparency when he wants it….”
Someone else quipped, “then tell us what’s up with his hand, Karoline,” referring to the bruise Trump was recently photographed having on his hand.
A third questioned, “Where are the Epstein files, the president’s medical records and full tax returns?” A fourth remarked, “So transparent that he runs cover for Jeffrey Epstein!”
One other added, “He’s actually been very opaque and impulsive. No DOGE transparency. Botched Epstein transparency. No clear justification for Bolton raid. Inconsistent Tariff Policy. Incoherent answers to questions that randomly deviate into side tangents. Transparency isn’t just about press conferences.”
Meanwhile, someone else commented, “Question what if the Epstein list is attached to the American flag? Can it be burnt?”
As one noted: “[Trump] tosses people out of the press pool when they ask him tough questions, so no.”
Since Trump has taken the White House for a second time, he has sparked much discourse online with many slamming him and his administration.
According to the Independent, Trump faced criticism over his recent flag-burning order, which will punish anyone who burnt the American flag to the fullest extent of the law.
It comes after a lip reader revealed the chilling 3-word promise that Donald Trump whispered into Vladimir Putin’s ear at their Alaska summit.
