How I stopped messing around with email newsletters and started making them in CANVA | by Artem

I avoided email newsletters for a long time. Not because I didn’t see the point in them, but because they always seemed complicated. Especially when it came to design — either email builders with clunky functionality or HTML, which I honestly hate.

Everything changed when I accidentally came across CANVA’s email templates. Literally, these things:

Modern CANVA Email Newsletter
Mailchimp Email Template: No HTML Needed
What do you like?
1. It’s really simple.
You open the template in CANVA, edit the text, insert your photos, change the colors, and that’s it. Without a single line of code. You don’t even have to think about what to connect where.

2. It looks modern.
I’m not a designer, but these templates look like ready-made dribble works. Minimalism, readability, no “water”. Ideal for those who want to look solid but don’t have time to bother.

3. Mailchimp is a hit.
You take a ready-made image or blocks and paste it into your Mailchimp template. That’s it. You don’t need to correct the markup or bother with responsiveness.

Who is it for?
Personally, I use it for small customer newsletters and affiliate stories. But I think it’s fine for anything:

If you sell goods/services
If you run a blog or a page with subscribers
If you are an arbitrageur (like me) and need to keep in touch with your base
If you just want to look like a pro without spending money
My summary
Now, making an email newsletter is not a “sit down on the weekend and figure it out” story. It takes 20 minutes, tops.
