So i actually never know that my boyfriend have to be in the same case with me and our 1 year old baby when i apply for Medicaid. ( we live together) That’s why i never add his income or include him in the household. When they ask i just thought it was me and baby since we’re not married. ( it’s so confusing so I dont have any Idea)
That’s why i always renew just me & baby medicaid.
Now I know i have to include him to Medicaid case since my boyfriend is my baby’s daddy, what should I do? Is this Ok to call the case worker and correct it or Should I just Make the update/ change on the website?
(I got accepted for medicaid since 4/2024, but i never be able to pick the plan since i still have my primary Insurance ( they dont let me), then I have to cancel my insurance and start picking plan from medical since 1/2025. I been using it for just 9 months.)
Please give ne some advice I dont know where to start! I’m so scared if I commited the fraud which i never know about!!!
