You might not want to hear this, but if AI is doing 90% of your writing, then you’re doing it wrong.
I see too many writers relying so much on AI that when they finally write on their own, it still sounds like AI.
What you may not know is that clients notice these things.
They start doubting your originality, your craft, and even your ability.
The truth? AI should make you sharper, not lazier.
Here’s how to keep your writing human (and unreplaceable):
✅ 1. Randomize Sentence Structures
AI writes in predictable patterns. You shouldn’t.
Mix short and long sentences. Break grammar rules if it adds flavor.
✅ 2. Mimic Human Thought Patterns
We hesitate, correct ourselves, and get personal.
Example: “At first, I thought X… but actually, Y makes more sense.”
✅ 3. Inject Cultural & Regional References
Mention local slang, trending news, or a personal encounter with a popular brand. AI struggles here.
✅ 4. Use Unexpected Word Choices & Analogies
Instead of “effective,” try “a caffeine shot for your workflow.”
✅ 5. Manually Break Patterns
Change the first/last sentence of each paragraph. Rewrite repetitive chunks. Swap boring words.
✅ 6. Add Non-Linear Flow
Start mid-thought. Loop back when it feels natural. Humans don’t think in straight lines.
✅ 7. Share Personal Experiences
AI can’t live your life. You can. Even a small story adds soul.
✅ 8. Embed Contradictions
Humans are inconsistent. “This method works, but sometimes it backfires.”
✅ 9. Play With Formatting
One-word paragraphs.
Random bold/italics.
Lists where people don’t expect them.
✅ 10. Rewrite Intros & Conclusions
AI intros are stiff. Endings are cliché. Fix them manually.
Write like a human.
Because clients can always tell the difference.
In conclusion, AI is great, but you have the capacity to be greater. Don’t limit yourself.
Just asking for a friend, but how much of your post was created using AI?
