The latest version of NAKIVO Backup & Replication, v11.1, is now generally available, featuring expanded language support, more capabilities for Proxmox VE, secure multi-tenant connection for MSPs, automated real-time replication for VMware and more.
What’s new in NAKIVO Backup & Replication v11.1
- Multilingual Interface: Manage backup and recovery operations in your preferred language: English, Spanish, French, Italian, German, Polish, or Chinese — including job reports and alerts.
- Expanded Backup Capabilities for Proxmox VE: Instantly boot VMs from backups with Flash Boot. Create VM replicas for high availability and verify backup integrity and recoverability with instant verification. Back up and restore VM templates and reduce file size with log truncation for Exchange and SQL Servers.
- MSP Direct Connect: Secure MSP-tenant connections without requiring open ports on the tenant’s side. Ensure all communications between the MSP and tenant systems are encrypted to meet compliance requirements. Now supports Hyper-V, Proxmox VE, VMware and physical machines.
- Real-Time Replication for VMware: Simplify deployment with automatic installation of the IO Filter and Journal Service on source/target hosts. Automate failover to real-time VM replicas within the Site Recovery workflow and encrypt data transmitted over unsecured connections.
- Granular Backup for Physical Machines: Back up specific folders or volumes on physical machines to various locations — with support for backup immutability, encryption, air-gapped storage and other cybersecurity features. Restore data to SMB/NFS network shares, via email, or through a browser.
