Reading The Dispatch,
just now. “Medicaid Cuts Could
be Devastating
for Appalachia” —
a two-page spread in the main
section. None of it
surprises me. But
oh, is it sad. Preview of
things to come across
rural areas
and beyond. Combine that with
the disappearance
of vaccine mandates,
cancer and disease research
funding cuts….the tip
of the iceberg for
the deteriorating
health in our country,
which isn’t so good
anyway This, added to
drastic slashes to
USAID, harming
and killing millions around
the world, make for a
very dim picture.
None of this needs to happen.
But, alas, it is.
