By skyforbes I am applying for NJ Familycare ADB for both my parents. The application is asking for bank accounts to determine total assets. I have a joint checking account with my mother but it’s totally my money and my mother’s name is the only thing that is there from the beginning. It is where my salary is deposited. My mother does not use that account. That account has more money than the limit for ADB application.
What should I put in the accounts section given the situation? This is a genuine situation and I want to make sure the application isn’t denied because of this.
Also how seriously is the NJ Familycare ADB 5 year lookback period followed? Parents don’t need nursing home services like Long Term Services and Support. I read somewhere that in that case they don’t follow the lookback too much. Is that true?

Update: I can't remove her from the account because she is out of country for some time and banks don't allow removing them if they are not here.
