I Told ChatGPT I Have No Skills. Here’s How It Changed My Mind.

The AI chat that helped me find the skills I didn’t know I had

It was one of those nights where I felt useless.
You know, when you scroll through LinkedIn or Medium and it seems like everyone’s out there building startups, landing clients, or becoming “thought leaders.”

Meanwhile, I was just sitting there thinking, what skills do I even have?

So I did something random. I opened ChatGPT and typed:

“I don’t have any skills. What can I even do with my life?”

It wasn’t meant to be deep. I just wanted to vent.
But that message started a conversation that completely flipped how I look at myself.

“No skills” isn’t real, it’s a perspective

ChatGPT replied with something simple but powerful:

“If you can read this, think about this, and feel something about this — you already have skills.”

At first, I rolled my eyes. I thought, okay, that’s the motivational talk. But then it started listing actual, real-world examples based on what I’d said in past chats.
