I didn’t think I would be saying this, but OpenAI of all companies just launched a TikTok clone.
Well, technically the main feature is their new Sora 2 video generation, but they also included a feed you can scroll through to see AI-generated videos.
This new model is generating some incredible videos, and just like Google’s Veo 3, it’s also able to add sound effects and voices.
there’s a lot to talk about, from different features to crazy generation and how you can get access yourself, so let’s dive straight in.
First, let’s talk about what exactly OpenAI launched.
Sora 2 is a new video generation model which can currently only be used by people through their iOS-only mobile app, which requires an invite to get access.
Right now it’s still in some sort of early beta phase, but it will probably roll out to all (or most) paid users over the next month.
