I’m in Ohio, I have caresource insurance. I went to the dentist a few days ago for severe teeth pain.. to be fair, I haven’t been to the dentist in probably a decade. (I am a 27F) I’ve never had any real issues with my teeth, I had braces in highschool and then developed TMJ so I just didn’t go to the dentist because long story short it hurts my jaw. Anyway like I said I’ve never had any problems until recently. I got pregnant with my son 3 years ago and the pregnancy was ROUGH. A lot of vomiting and he drained me of calcium. Fast forward to now I have an impacted wisdom tooth that is causing extreme pain and swelling. I went to the dentist and did a ton of X-rays and she told me my wisdom teeth need to come out which I had already figured that. She did a couple fillings and then told me I have to wait 3 weeks for Medicaid to approve the extraction as well as a deep cleaning. I’ve been taking ibuprofen and acetaminophen like it’s free.. She also prescribed me amoxicillin for a possible infection in the impacted tooth. I have 4 wisdom teeth but only one has broke skin. Normally I have a high pain tolerance especially for teeth pain but this is something that I’ve been struggling with. It hasn’t even been a week yet and I’m basically counting down the days to receive anything in the mail from Medicaid
