Open letter to my Congressman – cuts to Medicaid – Kat Wexford – Medium

I’m writing to express my anger and dismay that you voted Yes on the House Budget resolution H.Con.Res.14 and its devastating cuts to essential programs like Medicaid, Medicare and SNAP.

I now ask that you reconsider your support for this greedy tax cut for the wealthy as the budget process continues.

Sooner or later, people won’t stand for this blatant theft anymore. Do you really want to see a repeat of the French Revolution here in the U.S.? Because I don’t.

People who have nothing left to lose have less incentive to stay non-violent and follow social norms.

Stop feeding the pigs with money most of your constituents need for basic survival.
