During Obama’s presidency, I immediately fell in love with (former) First Lady, Michelle Obama. She is philanthropic, intelligent, and caring for the US citizens. By the time her memoir is published, I instantly went for it. I wanted to learn more about Michelle’s lifestyle before and during her role as the first African-American First Lady of the United States.
There were so many things that Michelle has done in her life prior to becoming the loving wife of Barack Obama and the mother of Malia and Sasha. First off, things were a little difficult for her because she lived through segregation and prejudices against the minorities during her childhood. However, being Michelle, she was able to fight through them.
I also learned that she wanted to do everything during her childhood, such as singing and playing the piano. I find that relatable because I literally wanted to do everything and try out everything I perceived that already interested me. Michelle has a brother, Craig, whom she’s really close to.
