I Posted on TikTok for 30 Days Straight and it Paid Off.

I caved.

I gave in and accepted it, whether I like it or not, TikTok is a place that’s important to develop a following as an independent artist in 2025.

I’ve been taking it seriously and trying to post every day for about 30 days now. I’ve been taking the same videos and posting them to YouTube Shorts.

To be honest, I haven’t posted every single day. I think I missed about 3 or 4 days in the last month. Nonetheless, I’m taking consistent swings.

What I’m Posting

I don’t have a ton of content ready to go. The only reason I’m able to do this is because I have a ton of clips from my old music I never really posted to TikTok.

I look at these apps (TikTok and YouTube Shorts) as experimental. I’m throwing shit at the wall.

It’s an opportunity to reach new people every time you post without spending on ads. That’s the way the algorithm on the app is structured.

And since they are trying to bring as many new people to the app as possible, the algorithm is set up to push content to new people.

That means there are a lot of new people joining the app every day, and by posting old…
