My comments:
— ChatGPT gives a comprehensive answer to booking an air ticket and shopping for occasions and daily use. See below the ticket booking experience with ChatGPT. It was warm.
— It compares all sites and gives the best results.
— Payment is still a hurdle? Some kind of points-based payments.
— Refund would be an issue, as people would need to call the customer care of the relevant companies.
— Amazon, are you following up, or do you want to be obsolete? See below the shopping experience with ChatGPT.
— If Amazon follows up, then Amazon LLM would talk with ChatGPT LLM! What an LLM to LLM conversation would be like.
— Amazon is leading in AI and in cloud, so why not get its hands on chat? Or collaborate with ChatGPT?
— ChatGPT tie-up with Expedia? How much can you do on your platform? But people would always need a comparison of all the sites.
— In shopping, too, ChatGPT is giving links to buy.
— It’s searching the sites and giving the options and links to buy things from.
— It’s nice, we can talk through what we want to buy.
— But if Amazon adds this to its shopping site, will people still use ChatGPT? It depends, as it compares multiple vendors. As below, it compares H&M, Myntra, and Zara — the three vendor sites — for the best answers.
— Where would the seller put their things now? Would ChatGPT show bias towards one vendor?
— Would Amazon and H&M stop search by ChatGPT? Making people use native sites and compare on their own. Not suggested.
— Would other chatbots, such as Meta Vibe, Claude, Google follow up on this? If so, then there would be a real competition!
— So good job! Follow up!
