While it’s exciting to use artwork from our favourite games, copyright laws often prohibit creating and selling a game using another company’s intellectual property.

There’s a lot of free content available, but always remember to credit the creator in your game. Even when it’s not mandatory, it’s a much-appreciated gesture of recognition and promotion for someone who spent hours — or even days — creating art or animations and generously made them available for free.
