Bowling Green cop car case.
I won’t endeavor to belabor this one. Here’s the video.
Basic story is that Isabel here, who was 22 (of age!) and a student at Bowling Green, basically seems to have been day-drinking with her friend (I know the situation all too well) and, behind some bar/pizza place, they saw a cop car parked because the cop was giving a traffic ticket nearby. Isabel got into the cop car. The cop returned and was like, “UM, what the fuck are you doing in my car?” Isabel said she wanted a ride to the next bar, which is perhaps the funniest thing ever said in the back of a given cop car, and that’s a long list of funny things (obviously also many awful things). The cop, who was female but calls her male partner over pretty quick, loses her mind. Then Isabel says she thought “the cops gave rides,” so the cops have to explain: “Yes, to your house, not to the next bar…” Nice.
In later reporting on this, it was claimed Isabel did it as a “prank,” but, ya know, she still went to jail. Her court…
