TikTok has just launched a terminal AI coding tool, similar to Claude Code or Gemini CLI.
TikTok has been slowly trailing Cursor, Claude, and other AI coding assistants, as it attempts to establish its foothold in the coding assistants market.
If you have been following my content, I previously compared I Tested Trae vs Cursor in a head-to-head coding analysis.
If you check that video as well, you will see that TikTok IDE, Trae AI, did not match up to my expectations, though the later update was impressive, showing significant improvements.
