You ever just wonder what something is? That car, bird, plant, bug that’s biting you, dog, etc. You can use an AI chatbot like ChatGPT to analyze images and identify most things.

The easiest way to do this is on your phone. Take a picture of whatever the thing is, paste that picture into the ChatGPT message, and ask it to identify what is in the picture.

You can also do this on the computer. The steps are similar except for taking the picture since you probably don’t have a camera attached to your computer (or maybe you do, what do I know?)

Once you have an image on the computer, either copy and paste it into the message or attach it to the message. Same type of prompt — identify what is in the picture.

You’ll probably be surprised with how many things it can identify accurately.

Bonus tip: If you are a nature lover, use the apps Seek and Merlin. Seek identifies plants and insects. Merlin works a little differently and listens to birds and identifies them for you.
