My Book Review of Don’t Let Her Stay by Nicola Sanders

Been long I fed off the tension & trickery of a thriller story. Strangely enough, this time around, I listened (audiobook) to this story since I’m not so fond of e-book reading for my eye health and my reduced screen time goal during my MD Thesis preparations through March to June.
DON’T LET HER STAY has been a great piece of literature, a stress reliever from all the pressures of my MD Thesis preparations in June 2025. A very thrilling and psychic story which I best enjoyed listening to while bathing or doing laundry or the dishes. That is when my mental activity isn’t much needed to perform routine tasks.

Nicola Sanders tells the story of Joanne, the second wife of Richard. Richard’s first wife and second daughter died years back, and he has been estranged from his first daughter Chloe, a presumed Psycho over her dad. The latter now reappears after finding out her father & step mother have a baby, without her. In her quest to know what exactly is going on in the new family, Chloe’s return was a concoction of LIES, chaos, insecurity & betrayal.

Amazing book to indulge in 😉

I must applaud the spiky plot twists and turns. They were totally unpredictable, right unto the end of the story, with some good climax keeping you glued to know what’s going to happen next. What’s a thriller without these? 😅
Sometimes I prayed against the gullible nature of Joanne and the dishonest relationship Richard offered her about his past.

This book focuses on themes on family, lies, insecurity, psychic behavior and crime.
A good piece which I rated 5 ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ☺️
