The AI facade that captured our minds…
I’m from India, and today on 29th of October 2025, I heard the news that ChatGPT Go subscription plan is going to be free for 1 year in India starting from November 4, 2025.
That’s great news. OpenAI is going to promote the use of AI in India, and this is the reason behind making ChatGPT Go plan free for 1 year.
This would benefit all the students, hobbyists (like myself), skilled employees, and others who always want to chat more with ChatGPT.
Let me remind you that the ChatGPT Go plan was launched specifically for Indians at a minimal price of around 5 dollars.
Basically they will collect data and improve their AI models (GPT-5, GPT-4, GPT-4o). And they might be doing this to train their upcoming model, GPT-6 which will eventually be released next year.
So everything is going to be good, then why am I not excited for this?
