This will probably get deleted(by me, after negativity) and has already been asked, but…

I know, I know…I’ll have to talk to my university about their AI policy.
But our final three, 100 point assignments will be turned in to Turnitin.com.

My question is: so can I not use AI at all? Even to think of ideas? What if the AI thinks of good ideas for my paper, and I use a few said ideas, and I write/word it?

For me AI really enhances learning. I love all the info it brings me, ideas, new patterns, social engagement while thinking, etc.

I have more questions as well…
(Such as, what if I have AI shorten my word count? Will basic functions like this get flagged?)

Seems like we can’t use a great technology at all. Is there legal protection here? What if it can’t be proven you used AI? I never signed any legally binding agreements.

Not understanding how people would like me to use AI, and how people would prefer me not use AI, lest it’s not using it at all…
