Recently, he stole the spotlight with his extended cameo in Heads of State, becoming the main highlight of that movie. So when Novocaine premiered on Prime Video, I immediately pressed play.

For me, the main highlight of Novocaine isn’t its humor or action but the on-screen chemistry between Nate (Jack Quaid) and Sherry (Amber Midthunder). They look so adorable together, and Sherry is so beautiful and endearing that she could make anyone fall hopelessly in love with her.

The concept of the film also shows real potential once it’s revealed. The first act feels almost like a small love story, but the real movie begins in the second act, bringing in action, humor, and car chases. But is it a good movie as a whole package? Let’s find out.
