Freaking out – forgot to cancel/inform of changes after getting employer coverage – MT

As the title says, I am freaking out a bit as I just found out I apparently did not cancel or inform medicaid that I had a new job with health insurance (although my income is roughly the same, and will still be under the medicaid limit for the year). My employer coverage went into effect about 5 months ago, and as I was picking up prescriptions today I noticed they had billed it out to medicaid.

I thought I had updated my coverage with them, but apparently not as I logged into the state's system and it showed I still have been covered under medicaid for the last 5 months. I do not believe that anything has been charged to my medicaid as I've been using my employer provided insurance since it got it. I had the pharmacy cancel that prescription billed to medicaid and re ran through my insurance.

I'm going to go the office tomorrow morning ASAP and tell them everything and ask for them to cancel my coverage. It was an honest mistake and I want to make everything right, I'm sure there will be a fine or repayment of services rendered (if there were some I forgot about) and I'm happy to settle up for that.

Is there anything I should bring with me to the office tomorrow? My biggest concern is that even though this was an accident that I would be considered fraud. There's no reason to get a lawyer, right? I know its all a case by case thing, but any assurances that it'll work out without me going to jail would be great
