Throw-back Halloween episode anyone? The Goonies. Need I say more?

Well, yes, obviously, I do. The movie named The Goonies is a great 1980’s film classic that you may have watched when it re-played on T.V. one boring late afternoon.

Maybe you heard something about the movie before… or maybe you didn’t and you just wanted to give this odd little film a chance. Either way, you watched it. And you were glad you did.

If you’ve never watched The Goonies, no sweat. Here’s what you need to know:

The Goonies is about a group of kids who find themselves thrown into a wild game of cat-and-mouse. The young and rambunctious kid named Mikey–the unofficial leader of the group–stumbles onto a treasure map that may lead to some lost pot-of-something-or-other that may be the answer that he and his friends are looking for at the moment.

There are a group of real estate men who are in the midst of purchasing Mikey’s home and the homes of all the other houses around Mikey’s neighborhood.

The men have big plans for the land that the houses are built on… but Mikey and those living in those homes aren’t too pleased about getting kicked out to live somewhere else.
