Our recruiters look forward to speaking with you about your background, skills, and compensation requirements.OverviewThe Logistics Coordinator coordinates the delivery of customer products to desired locations.ResponsibilitiesProvide real time driver and load status updates in the TruckMate software systemProvide coverage/communications for radio, phone and People NetEnsure proper flow of documents to and from driversEffectively communicate with management, drivers and customersEnter data efficiently and accurately in complex software systemsPerform clerical and administrative functions including sorting, filing and distributing transportation documents.QualificationsEducation/ExperienceHigh School diploma or equivalent required.Minimum of one year experience as a transportation clerical or similar roleSkills and AbilitiesExcellent data entry skillsStrong computer skills – prior experience working with complex computer systemsKnowledge of Transportation Management Systems, such as PeopleNet and/or TruckMate preferredExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenMust be detail orientedAbility to multitask and keep track of several shipments for numerous clientsAbility to communicate effectively with management, drivers and customersAbility to work overtime, other shifts and/or holidays as business needs requireSaddle Creek is an Equal Opportunity employer and an Affirmative Action employer, as required by law.
