The Lands team is seeking an accomplished, passionate Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team in not only supporting these multiple software products and brands but working with us to develop and continuously improve our systems and processes.The ideal candidate would have a passion for all things DevOps and is excited to be part of an awesome tight-knit team of product managers, software developers and quality assurance engineers.This role is located in our Austin, TX office and has a schedule of 4 days on-site and 1 day work from home.Responsibilities:Automating and leveraging DevOps principles, always striving for operational excellence with infrastructure-as-code mentalityLive and breathe build and deployment pipeline development using latest DevOps tools and innovative methodsOn-Premise Infrastructure Management. Designing. implement, and maintaining physical and virtual servers, storage, and network infrastructure within the company’s own data centerEnsure the health and uptime of critical systems and applications with pro-active monitoring, analyzing metrics, implementing best practices, and strong troubleshooting skillsCollaborating with Dev and QA to enhance our processesCommunicate and collaborate well with teams in broader IT and business organizations within the companyStrong communication skills, expressing oneself clearly both verbally and in writingOn-call rotationBasic Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree from an accredited, not-for-profit University or CollegeA track record of commitment to prior employers4+ years’ experience managing heavy web traffic sites using mass scale architecture with a developer focusExperience with build and deployment pipeline development in Team Foundation Server/Azure DevOps ServerExperience with infrastructure as code using Terraform or similar platformsHeavy scripting support (PowerShell)Experience with Akamai and load balancing technologies such as F5 LTMs, including management of VIPs, pools, nodes, iRule authoring, SSL offloadingExperienced in configuration management tools (chef or ansible)Familiarity with infrastructure foundation components of large networks in on-prem (e.g., systems & network administration, DNS, hypervisors, containers, databases, multi-datacenters)Windows and Linux systems experienceMicrosoft IIS based web applications (front end and backend) experienceExperience with enterprise monitoring tools and VMWare basic knowledgeSome experience in AWS or Cloud experience is a nice to have.What’s In It For You?When you join CoStar Group, you’ll experience a collaborative and innovative culture working alongside the best and brightest to empower our people and customers to succeed.We offer you generous compensation and performance-based incentives.
