ChatGPT Edu workspace offered via school district, thoughts?

I just received an email from ChatGPT stating the following:

OpenAI ([email protected]) has invited you to collaborate using ChatGPT Edu in the workspace [DISTRICT NAME] Edu.

Please click on the link below to accept your invitation and join the workspace using the email address:

Chats and GPTs in your ChatGPT Edu workspace may be subject to your organization's access and controls.

I am a high school math teacher who pays for ChatGPT Plus. It has been an amazing tool for generating similar problems, helping me differentiate my lessons, and clearing me from any busy work given from my administration/district that is typically just a waste of time.

It seems that my district purchased the ChatGPT Edu plan for all teachers. Is it worth merging my current account with this Edu plan? This means that my Plus membership will be cancelled. The last statement within the email makes it seem that the district could be given access to my chats or prevent me from using specific prompts for my workload. Is this the case? Are there any benefits for a Edu plan vs an individual Plus plan?

Thanks to all in advance!!
