By skyforbes It seems like they have been doing everything to make them harder to use UI-wise, making it harder to favorite them and limiting how many you can have in your sidebar, but now they seem to respond to my main prompt before anything else – I can't get custom GPTs set up to handle input-as-input rather than responding to it as a message.
For example, I have a translator/evaluator GPT, which until yesterday always translated text properly and immediately in the manner it's supposed to. Now I put in some text and it asks me what I mean and to give more information, like it's forgotten its job. It still knows it's "Brutally Honest Japanese Evaluator," but it clearly has too much info clogging it to handle the strict prompt.
I know I need to stop being lazy and finish vibe-coding an interface to properly use the API. I cancelled my subscription to motivate myself…
