Job description: Social Media Manager – Healthcare & Education Brand (Brooklyn, NY)Our client , a rapidly growing behavioral health organization, is seeking a creative, fearless, and trend-savvy Social Media Manager to lead its digital storytelling, brand presence, and recruitment marketing efforts.This is a hands-on, idea-driven role — perfect for a content creator who loves making scroll-stopping videos, building social strategies, and turning complex ideas into fun, relatable stories that attract talent and grow awareness.About the RoleThe Social Media Manager will take charge of developing and executing the company’s digital strategy across multiple channels. You’ll create engaging short-form video content, manage campaigns, and build a social media voice that helps educate audiences about the field of behavioral therapy while driving interest from potential employees.You’ll also support employer branding, recruitment marketing, and the launch of exciting new initiatives — from a brand ambassador program to an educational learning platform.Key ResponsibilitiesContent Creation & Storytelling: Develop and produce creative, trend-driven content (especially short-form video) across TikTok, Instagram, and other social platforms.Recruitment Marketing: Partner with the recruiting team to build awareness and generate leads for open roles (e.g., RBTs and Behavior Technicians).LinkedIn Strategy: Manage the company’s LinkedIn presence and leverage LinkedIn Recruiter to promote roles, connect with candidates, and elevate brand awareness.Brand Ambassador Program: Design and manage a brand ambassador initiative to increase community awareness and engagement around the organization’s mission and services.Educational Campaigns: Promote the launch of a new online learning program (academy) to reach prospective professionals and educate them about the field.Social Media Strategy: Stay ahead of cultural trends, memes, and formats to develop a distinctive brand voice — one that’s fun, authentic, and a little satirical to engage clinicians and behavioral health professionals.Performance & Reporting: Track analytics, optimize campaigns, and continually refine strategy based on engagement data.Collaboration: Work closely with leadership to align creative output with overall growth goals and brand vision.What We’re Looking ForExperience creating and managing content for social media, ideally in a brand, agency, or creative role.Strong video editing and short-form content skills (TikTok, Reels, etc.).Confident and comfortable being both behind and in front of the camera OR galvanizing others to be on camera OR use AI to create amazing content.Up to date on current social media trends, sounds, and viral formats.Tech-savvy and creative — able to ideate and execute independently.Experience with AI content tools, design apps, or social automation is a plus.Passion for making content that matters — helping people discover meaningful, purpose-driven careers in healthcare and education.Location & ScheduleLocation: Brooklyn, NYSchedule: Hybrid (in-office 2–3 days per week preferred)Employment Type: Full-time preferred; part-time or hybrid models may be considered.Why This Role MattersThis is a rare opportunity to shape a brand’s digital identity from the ground up — with immediate impact on recruiting, awareness, and education.
