By skyforbes I just imagined a hypothetical future scenario- BCIs became fully functional with enough storage to capture a lifetime's worth thoughts, captured in tokens or symbols. Abstract thoughts and subconscious activity are both captured symbolically, partitioned and aggregated based on "types", then mapped with the stream of token based conscious thoughts.
I then imagined, LLM context windows grow to stretch back to birth. We have our own private LLM model installed in our person. It's continuously training with our thoughts.
Inevitably, we're going to become synthetic hybrids. We would have perfect recall of every conversation, of every thought and possibly every feeling.
Our cognitive self would be a hybrid, integrated with software.
