I traveled to brussels, belgium today, and asked chatgpt a question about the start time of an event. It told me the start time, but it also converted it to the brussels timezone, even though I did not tell it I was in belgium. The exact wording: "Since you're in brussels…", what's even weirder is that even after saying that, it said in the same message: "if you tell me your country, I can convert exactly to local time for you". I asked the same question another 5 times in different conversations, and each time, without fail, brussels was mentioned in the first reply. I asked it why it was mentioning brussels, and it kept giving me random bs about simply assuming, but not actually knowing my location. In one reply, it said that I had set my chatgpt profile location to belgium, but I have not done so, and didn't even know that was a thing, still not sure on whether it is. I'm not exactly surprised it knows the user's location, but still weird imo.
