By skyforbes I’ve been using GPT plus and wanted to try Gemini out again since it’s been getting such rave reviews. I signed up for Gemini Pro. I’ve been disappointed with two aspects: when I dictate, if I make a pretty small pause in talking it auto sends and Gemini starts responding. With GPT, I have the option to have it manual where I can decide when to send, or decide to first have the text written out in the chat box that I can read, and then choose to send. Am I correct Gemini doesn’t provide those options? Just, when it senses you stopped talking it auto sends? It makes dictating very difficult when I want to pause to think and formulate my words
Edit: just want to mention that Claude also gives me the control of sending, but doesn’t have full voice chat mode like Gemini/gpt
