This is driving me crazy

I have been doing roleplay with Gemini for a few months and this week it has been a challenge to use. I know it's around the update to 3 pro, but it's changed how it works and follows instructions now? Perhaps it could just take some time for the 'bugs' to settle?

The main thing that is doing my head in is that it's ignoring parts of my prompt.

I write things like:

I do A.

I say B.

I do C.

But when the model responds, it just acknowledges/reacts to part C? Like part A and B of the prompt never happened? It's basically doing this on every prompt I write now when it never used to do it before which is frustrating.

I've tried writing in the saved instructions but it doesn't seem to work. Writing a command directly in the prompt as a reminder works somewhat but not always and it often forgets after a few prompts.

This is something I'd usually write to try and steer it:
(The model MUST acknowledge ALL key points, dialogue, and actions from my prompt in its response to ensure full context and sequential flow.)

Is this happening to anyone else? Or is there a better solution I could use?
