Indie deep cuts from the 90s — what else belongs on my list?

In the 90s I spent my time devouring "art house films" and volunteering at film festivals to see everything I could. I am still a fan of films from that era like You Can Count on Me, Party Girl, Go, The Piano, Kids, The Virgin Suicides, and The Station Agent (which is technically post-90s).

I recently remembered a movie my sister and I would watch on VHS regularly, the 1996 film Manny & Lo, starring 11-year-old Scarlett Johansson as a runaway foster child evading the authorities with her pregnant 13-year-old sister. Thinking about it prompted me to make this list of what I consider deep cuts from the 90s indie film festival circuit. Movies that didn't get as big as Reservoir Dogs, Before Sunrise, Dazed & Confused, Bad Lieutenant, or Boyz N the Hood.

Here's a list of 90s movies I loved back then and remember well, but I don't hear mentioned a lot and can be really hard to find.

What would you add?

Manny & Lo (1995/6)

In the Company of Men (1997)

Secrets & Lies (1996)

Sleep with Me (1994)

Barcelona (1994) / Metropolitan (1990)

High Art (1998)

The Sweet Hereafter (1997)

Whatever (1998)

Living in Oblivion (1995)

Trees Lounge (1996)

Walking and Talking (1996)

Daughters of the Dust (1991)

Gridlock'd (1997)

The Addiction (1995)

Girls Town (1996)

Dogfight (1991)

Shallow Grave (1994)

ETA: Citizen Ruth (1996)

please don't tear me apart if I'm off the mark with any of these, I'm just looking for input/discussion.
