It's a bunch of content creators and journalist websites, all of which have the same background history of "dude who grew up playing video games".
So essentially if you have ever taken a post-secondary writing course and have played video games, congratulations! You are now on the same level as those who vote on the best games for the year for Geoff's show! (even though the year isn't even over)
So if some game get's an award that you don't agree with, you can feel free to make a social media post of you're own chosen GOTY award and you will have the exact same juding credentials as any of TGA's judges!
