By skyforbes I'm a senior in high school and this September 27th-28th, I’m hosting Daydream NYC (a hackathon part of a bigger event called Daydream), a 12 to 24 hour game jam for 70+ teens across the New York Metropolitan area, affiliated with Hack Club.
I've been working with a couple friends for the past month trying to secure a venue so that we have somewhere to run the event, with not much luck. The most difficult part is that we don't have any funds we can spend on paying for the venue, since we're all just a bunch of high schoolers. If you guys know anywhere that could help us out, that would be amazing!
