ChatGPT and Claude let you export your conversations, but the raw JSON file is… not exactly usable for Gemini or any other AI. It's too large, and filled json soup, meta tags and often empty conversation threads.
Full disclosure: I work with Phoenix Grove Systems, and we built a tool called Memory Chip Forge (https://pgsgrove.com/memoryforgeland) specifically for this problem.
You can now make a file of your memories that is organized, easily read by any AI and small enough to load into a chat directly.
What it does:
- Strips out the JSON soup and code bloat
- Removes empty conversations that clutter your export
- Organizes everything into a vector-ready index/table of contents
- Includes system instructions that help any AI load your memories and pick up right where you left off
Privacy note: The tool runs 100% in your browser. You can literally open your browser's Network tab (F12 → Network) while using it and watch—zero files get uploaded anywhere. Your data never leaves your computer. We built it this way specifically so you don't have to trust us—you can verify it yourself.
It's $3.95/month for unlimited conversions. Happy to answer any questions about how it works.
