I admit, I don't know exactly how the american justice system works, less so in the 70s, so I just wanted to clear something up for myself.
Why wasn't Miklo's killing of Spyder considered self-defense? He never intended to kill Spyder (he even strongly convinced Paco to NOT do exactly that) until Spyder shot him first.
I am not bashing the movie (I love it) and I am absolutely 100% completely ignorant of legal proceedings; I just know that self-defense usually is a big argument used in courts.
Can anyone fill me in?
