By skyforbes I've been playing Absolum for a few days now and it's great. It's a rogue-lite beat 'em up with a fantasy theme. The gameplay feels slick (some of the Streets of Rage 4 folks worked on it), and it has a variety of sub-quests you can do while working toward the ending. (I just revived a dead bard and she sang me a song!) There's some permanent progression so you slowly feel more powerful over time. Have any of you played this?
