Sometimes I find myself torn between playing Dota 2 and going through my long list of single-player games. Dota 2 gives me this rush — the teamwork, the unpredictability, the satisfaction of a good play — even though I’m not particularly good at it. I’m stuck at a low rank, and it honestly eats at me sometimes. I hate feeling like I’m not improving, like I’m just going in circles.

On the other hand, I’ve built up this huge backlog of single-player titles, each one waiting to be experienced — stories, worlds, and adventures I’ve always wanted to explore. They’re all sitting there, collecting digital dust while I queue up for another match that could either lift my mood or ruin my night.

I keep asking myself: should I stop grinding Dota 2 for a while and focus on these single-player games instead? Maybe it’s better to play something that doesn’t depend on teammates or matchmaking luck — something that just lets me progress at my own pace, enjoy the story, and feel accomplished. But then again, there’s something about Dota 2 that keeps pulling me back — the challenge, the community, the feeling that maybe next time I’ll finally play better.
