By skyforbes quite a few people find him obnoxious but personally, i like him.
he strikes me as someone who's in the business because he loves it. whenever i see his ads, i can tell that he's clearly passionate about what he does. it kind of reminds me of my own passion for movies.
i'm also a big fan of how his willingness to laugh at himself. various ads make greg the butt of the joke and he takes it in stride.
also, he just seems like a really cool and nice guy. occasionally, he'll do adverts for charities that marcus theater sponsors and he speaks with just as much sincerity as when he's gushing about movies.
i have a friend who finds him obnoxious and has actually said that she wants to "punch him in the face". that's a bit extreme. personally, i like him a lot.
