Started the year at 200k. Grew it to 330k by August and transferred from Schwab to RH for cheaper margin. Went all in on Amazon at 220 earlier this month (like 500k margin, 400k my own funds), didn't have balls for calls.
Only a total 15% gain on Amazon so far, but portfolio performance sitting at 225% ytd is great. Lost out on a home offer earlier this year with 200k down payment , and invested it instead. Now I've got enough for a much smaller mortgage, assuming money set aside for taxes.
