Jeff `The Dude' Leboswki (Jeff Bridges) is a slacker and advid bowler. He is mistaken for Jeffrey Lebowski (David Huddleston), who is The Big Lebowski. In search of recompense, The Dude tracks down his namesake, who offers him a job. His wife Bunny (Tara Reid) has been kidnapped and he needs a reliable bagman. Aided and hindered by his pals Walter Sobchak (John Goodman) a Vietnam vet, and Donny (Steve Buscemi). Written by the Coen Brothers Ethan and Joel and directed by Joel they delivering one hell of a good funny crime film. Jeff Bridges character as “The Dude” is iconic and a very enjoyable character. John Goodman is good in the film although I feel his character has anger issues at points. Steve Buscemi is funny as well and I like all 3 of our main characters whenever they were on screen. You also can’t forget the late Phillip Seymour Hoffman as Brandt and Sam Elliott who plays The Stranger and is the narrator at the beginn of the film. If you all have not seen the film highly would recommend it and it’s probably my favorite Coen Brothers
