By skyforbes I like watching light romantic comedies, but can't stand how every city person is portrayed as a vapid, money hungry ass hat. Characters who like the city are brow beaten into coming home to their OG super small country town, etc.
Do you know of any light/easy/simple movies that respect the kindness, richness, and amazing diversity of urban areas? (I do love LA, but it doesn't have to be such a prominent location, just somewhere you can get to some solid Ethiopian food without too much hardship lol).
Maybe the couple lives or moves there, but either way, they can acknowledge how there are a mix of nice people, respectful people, and assholes anywhere.
As an example, I loved "Yes Man" with Jim Carrey.
