I've noticed that while The Lion King's CGI remake was widely disliked, The Jungle Book's CGI remake in 2016 didn't seem to have as much backlash. Don't recall the Pete's Dragon remake receiving such hatred either.
Now ik one of the reasons was the best songs being excluded from The Lion King, as well as them changing Zazu. But aside from that, where did The Jungle Book succeed where The Lion King failed in your eyes?
