By skyforbes For whatever reason, whenever I try to use Gemini 2.5 Flash with an API key, I get a quota error when my quota has not been exceeded. I've checked my usage and have made zero requests to this model. I'm still able to use every other model except for Gemini 2.5 Flash (or any of the variations of 2.5 Flash). I can use Gemini 3 Pro, Nano Banana, etc.
I've tried everything: Making a new API key, making an entire new GCP project, new Billing Account, etc. I'm not using the Free tier, this is a Tier 1 account which should allow for at least a couple hundred requests per day.
I've asked Gemini for help with this issue and can't seem to get anything to work. It's like my entire Google Account is banned from using specifically Gemini 2.5 Flash and I have no idea why.
Also, this happens in both AI Studio and calling the API directly through requests. Is this happening to anyone else? Does anyone know of a solution? Thank you.
