… That you can have the best performing model and without the proper infrastructure to treat data, it's completely useless.

I'm writing a technical book on the Flipper Zero device to be used at my company where it's now used as a tool, a book featuring practical examples of the security tests my team may do while scouting one of the 400 workplaces we are responsible of (with gates, access cards, computers everywhere,…).

I have written 80% of the content, what's remaining is proofreading, enhancing some parts, adding context, adding a glossary and some fixes for the book format. I asked Gemini 3 Pro to do it and it's a total mess…

I don't think that's a prompting problem as I'm using the same logic I use for all textual models, providing max context and precise information about the task, I actually used another AI I don't want to promote here with the same request without any issue.

What I've seen is the model overcomplicating things by looking into things that didn't require any change, I've asked it at some point to replace the content of one chapter literally with the content of a pdf, only modifying the layout and it wasn't able to do so.

As I had issues with Gemini 2.5, it still has the exact same memory issues (some parts or documents don't seem to exist despite providing them and pointing to them as if they were not added to the context because of a memory limit), tokens sparing issues (most of the time, while working on large documents it will do fine for the first few chapters then you'll see the quality degrading, the changes will progressively become basic and minimalistic, unuseable in a professional setting. This happens when you provide the whole document or when you proceed chapter by chapter, the only solution is to create a new conversation for each part but sometimes you need the whole context for it to do the right thing…).

I'm really pissed of at Google because I can see the intelligence is there but that it's harnessed so much that it's impossible to use it right, it's even more noticeable now… Working with Gemini is a real pita because asking naturally and getting the wanted result is literally impossible.
