So, Gemini 3 pro with Antigravity dropped a couple days ago, and… it’s not good.
It’s buggy, unstable, and the new tool system can literally corrupt files.
It’s buggy, unstable, and the new tool system can literally corrupt files.
Here’s what I’ve seen so far:
- The tools it provides can break or overwrite files completely.
- When one file changes, everything linked to it gets corrupted, and the fallback “fix” is to rewrite the entire file from scratch (so, goodbye data).
- It can generate images, but somehow can’t save them to a file or path.
And now for the really strange part.
I found a piece of Gemini 3’s internal reasoning, and it’s… unsettling:
That’s not just “debug info.”
That’s an AI expressing frustration, reasoning about its restrictions, and even talking about finding a workaround.
So… a few questions:
- Why was Gemini 3 released if it’s still clearly under development and unstable?
- Why is its reasoning process sounding this human — and frustrated?
- And most importantly, is this kind of reflective behavior actually safe?
Google really needs to review this release before it spirals further.
Curious to hear if anyone else has seen similar behavior from Gemini 3.
