By skyforbes For all of google’s amazing engineering, the iOS app is truly terrible.
There are a number of egregious bugs:
- if it’s in think mode and I let my phone lock it never finishes. This doesn’t happen on the ChatGPT app which notifies you when the generation is complete

if you are reading the text as it’s streaming it just jumps you to the bottom when it finishes, making you scroll back up
I don’t understand how that’s the case, is no one using it at google?
